MissionVet Specialty & Emergency
Grow with MissionVet
MissionVet Specialty & Emergency is a sister location of Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists.
In 2012 we branched into San Antonio as a specialty practice and added emergency services in 2016.
Over the past decade, we’ve become known as a trusted veterinary provider in the community and we’re continuing to grow. Our highly skilled team is a humble but mighty group of individuals who work together to build up our practice and our people.

DVM Testimonials
There’s a lot of communication. There’s a lot of camaraderies. There’s a lot of support between the services we do.
- Chris Jones, DVM, DACVIM
We're looking to maintain a collaborative and engaging culture. We want doctors who want to work and talk with other doctors, create meaningful and respectful relationships with their technicians and want to stay up to date with current medicine, push the edge, and understand that the day we stop learning is the day we stop practicing."
- Grant Ramsey, DVM, Practice Limited to Internal Medicine, Medical Director
I get to do the types of things I want to do that I’ve been doing my entire professional career. It’s a lot of fun and you make a good salary doing it.
- Tim Johnson, DVM, Director of Emergency Medicine
