Dr. Nicole Garcia is a Surgical Hospitalist at MissionVet Specialty & Emergency. She has been a part of the MissionVet surgery team since 2019, and has trained with our previous board-certified surgeons, Dr. David Worth and Dr. Tige Witsberger. She continues to be a great asset to our surgical team and our hospital.

Dr. Garcia attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and subsequently her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2013. She then completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Texas A&M followed by a small animal surgery internship at MissionVet in 2016. Dr. Garcia has a special interest in emergency surgery, wound management, and minimally invasive procedures.

She enjoys hiking, reading, pickleball, and spending time with and exploring San Antonio with her husband and four children. She also enjoys her 3 dogs and 2 cats.
