Dr. Cobarruvias was born and raised in San Antonio, graduating in 2013 from UTSA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She worked as a veterinary surgical assistant and technician at MissionVet before attending veterinary school. Dr. Cobarruvias recently graduated in 2021 from Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.

In her free time she enjoys gardening and spending time with her cat, Bella.
